Experience an authentic UNESCO-listed smoke sauna by the Võhandu River. We prepare the sauna for you and provide traditional traditional sauna whisks “vihad“. “Vihad” refers to bath whisks or sauna whisks — bunches of leafy branches (usually birch, sometimes oak or other trees) bound together and used in the sauna.
They’re soaked in water and then gently beaten or brushed against the skin to improve circulation, release aroma, and enhance the sauna experience.
After heating up, take an optional cold plunge in the river for the full Estonian ritual.
